Food Insecurity Doesn’t Stop at County Lines

That's Why We Work Together To End It

Three Communities, Working Together.

Food in Communities (FIC) was created as a regional collaborative supporting equitable food systems. FIC works through policy, systems, and environment change and is led by three entities: Food Justice Northwest Aurora, Denver Department of Public Health and Environment, and Jefferson County Public Health.

FIC's Four Priorities

These priorities were co-created with the different communities and reflect the priorities that each community identified.

FIC Resources For You

Do you want to learn more about the work FIC is doing in your community? Do you want to learn more about how certain policies are affecting food access in your community? FIC is continually creating resources for people to learn from and use to take action.
